I used my personal knowledge base in many way for this class. I used Evernote to clip articles that I found interesting about education and education reform. I liked being able to clip articles and uses them for other classes and for the education club. I used the clipper to remember what I had clipped and uses for projects. I also used zotero a lot in this class. I like using zotero because it allows me to cite and cut directly from what I was looking at directly. I used zotero more than Evernote because of the fact that I could site the information right from the clipper. Zotero helped me a lot with working on my citations for the projects I had to do in this class. I uses Evernote and Zotero in many ways since i have become more comfortable with them. I use my PKB to think of discussions for the education club that I am the vice president of I use the notes that I have clipped for this class to lead discussions about the current state of education in the united states and Rhode island. I like being able to clip something and read it later, or send it to the president so we can both read it I have gotten more comfortable with zotero and uses it for my communications class and uses it for almost all of my citations.I also got more comfortable with zotero and use it for major speeches in my communications class. the tools that i have learned from this class allow me to write papers and find information more easily.
I plan on using my PKB for other classes as I more on with my schooling . I plan on using zotero in the feature as opposed to ever note. I think zotero is more user friendly and I will uses it for the rest of my classes. I especially like the fact that I can uses zotero for APA citations and it is free which is hard to find. I also like the fact that when i am just searing Facebook or looking at the news that I can clip something and keep it for later even if I do not have time to read the whole articles at once. Using Zotero I can keep articles that have similar themes together and also keep them forever instead of having to wast time to re look up something that I had read a year or two ago. Overall I will continue to uses the technologies that I have learned about in this class in my feature classes
